Many of you are probably unaware that this brand was mostly run by a single individual. The site, ads, comments, replies, emails, all social, etc were all made and run by the doofus in "The Founder" commercial that I wrote... about myself... because I am in fact, that doofus. While this had been a project I started back in 2019, we weren't able to launch until the end of 2020... right in the middle of a seemingly unending global pandemic. And the world staying safe at home and wearing less makeup did not bode well for our specific product launch, just bad timing. So, unfortunately we'd been playing from behind since the early days and even though we tried our hardest, I was unable to find a way for us to fully catch up. That said, I've been very fortunate to meet and work with so many awesome folks and creatives during this process! I've learned a lot and wanted to just give a big ass fuckin THANK YOU to everyone who supported or contributed to our little brand. I had hoped to keep growing with you all, but it wasn't in the cards this go around. Them's the breaks. ⁠
